James Wesala, AIA
James Wesala began working in the profession in 2004 and he brings those years of professional experience to Richärd | Kennedy Architects. James has vast experience, having worked on Civic, K-12, Higher Education, Ecclesiastical, Industrial, and Retail/Hospitality projects. James' interest in architecture was piqued at an early age by his father (an electrical engineer) with drawing and visits to construction sites.
James' extracurricular activities include teaching at The Design School at ASU, serving his profession (AIA, NCARB, NAAB, NOMA), and co-hosting/co-producing the "Tracing Architecture" podcast.
James is a graduate of ASU with a Bachelor of Science and Design in Architectural Studies and a Master of Architecture. James is licensed in Arizona, California, New Mexico, and Texas, is currently involved in AIA, NCARB, NAAB, NOMA, and is a LEED BD+C accredited professional.
In his spare time, James seeks adventure with his wife (and their rescue dog) by traveling, hiking, and seeing Arizona from above with his drone.
