Charles enhances the spaces he engages with, drawing on 38 years of experience and a collaborative, interdisciplinary approach rooted in advocacy and mentorship. As a leader in blending interior architecture and design, he is responsible for creating cohesive interior environments that reinforce the architectural vision. His expertise spans interior and architectural planning, material selection, furniture systems, written specifications, and sustainability, embracing a holistic approach to the health and well-being of building occupants.

As part of an integrated design practice, Charles works closely with design architects and technical teams to develop interior spaces in tandem with the architecture. A champion of teamwork, he believes, “Together we can yield creativity to a new level that will not only generate a better design but provide a livelier future.” In 2024, Charles was honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award by the International Interior Design Association Southwest Chapter, in recognition of his dedication to fostering interdisciplinary collaboration and inclusivity.
