Jim has over thirty-five years of experience in planning, design, and construction of complex and high-profile projects. With broad ranging architectural experience, he has specialized expertise in the design of teaching laboratories, classroom buildings, higher education, and academic research buildings. His design process lends itself to multi-discipline clients. Jim’s ability to integrate user needs and engineering requirements into the design of the facility is quite successful. He has extensive experience in facilitating the design process and technical knowledge for problem solving. Jim’s integrated approach to sustainable design has resulted in award winning environmentally premier architecture. Jim has been the recipient of the 2014 University of Arizona Alumni of the Year, 2013 AIA Arizona Firm of the Year Award, and the 2008 AIA Arizona Architect’s Medal.
